James Monroe Jones, Jr. 31, of Vestaria Hills, Alabama after Johns Creek police issued a warrant for his arrest.

The victim’s husband told police that he was awakened January 23rd by a loud gunshot just after 5:00 am. After checking out the home he noticed a bullet hole above the front door. The bullet had ricocheted several times throughout the house and was found mangled in the foyer. Police feel that the bullet was intended for the room where two children sleep. “It was a very close call” said Lt. Chris Byers with the Johns Creek Police Department.

The husband said that he immediately suspected Jones because he has been stalking his wife for the last 10 years. A neighbor had a security camera that caught images of the car that was probably Jones’ car.
