Milton, GA – A copper thief stole over $3,500 worth of copper wire from a construction job site on March 5th.
The superintendent of a subdivision said the theft occurred at Birmingham Highway new subdivision where several homes were being built. When his construction crews reported the work on March 5th, they found wiring in the basement of one residence hanging out of the ceiling. Copper wires has also been cut and removed throughout the construction site.
John’s Creek, GA – In an apparent drug deal that went south, a man was robbed at stun-gun point on February 23rd near Chattahoochee High School.
Police were called to Streamside Drive at approximately 4:00 pm after a report of an armed robbery. The victim told police the men robbed him with a stun gun then drove away. The police tracked down the suspect’s car. The driver then admitted to police that the victim was actually selling drugs to them before they robbed him.

An Alpharetta man is among two dozen members of a motorcycle gang found guilty of drug dealing and serious weapons offenses.
Howard Haney, age 44, of Alpharetta, Georgia, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute the drug. Mr. Haney was found guilty and sentenced to ten (10) years in prison. At the start of 2010 the FBI performed a long term undercover investigation in Northern Georgia into allegations that members of certain motorcycle clubs were engaged in various forms of criminal activity including drug distribution, illegal fire arms and explosives offenses.
On August 16, 2012 22 (twenty two) defendants were arrested for a drug, firearms, and obstruction of justice charges. Six other defendants were arrested later.
